My son loved it, especially the noise it makes while flipping the time. Irritates his roommates, which is a plus up for him.

I purchased this for my office desk and I love it. I get a lot of positive feedback from people and now they want one. I was a little leery of purchasing this because of some people complaining about the noise of the clock. My response to that: Yes, there is noise. It sounds like a running clock and every minute you hear a "flip" sound when it changes the time (love that). Would I put this by my nightstand? Maybe not....but I do think I would get used to the sounds it makes. When I am at my desk I do not hear it at all....so it depends how sensitive you are to the noise and where you would put it.
